Tom Williams
Tom is the company's owner and president. He grew up in the rolling hills of upstate New York where the four seasons were felt very distinctly each year. With a masters in physics, he spent most of his professional life as a geophysicist, determining the best locations to drill oil and gas wells. He moved with his family to Houston in 1989. He retired from BP Amoco in 2007 and purchased Summit Landscape Services later that year. Summit began in 1995 and has developed into a highly successful company with a competent, qualified staff, a great reputation and many satisfied customers. His vision is to build an even stronger company where the employees can feel proud to work and the quality of Summit's landscape, irrigation and maintenance projects are consistently recognized as second-to-none in the Houston area. Tom is a Texas Licensed Irrigator (#17162).
J. Ross Ayers
Ross is a Registered Landscape Architect (Texas A&M) with thirty five years of experience. He is a native Texan (you only have to meet him once to know) and a life member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Ross is a Vietnam vet and a member of the Tejas Vaqueros. He is former vice president of Cornelius Nursery (15 years), was a member of the Texas State Technological Institute Horticultural Advisory board (5 years), former volunteer fireman (12 years), and, needless to say, a member of the Houston Texas A&M club
Jason Harrison
Jason comes with 18 years experience in the industry installing everything from small residential irrigation systems to large commercial projects and has a great deal of practical knowledge hard-earned in the field. He is also highly skilled at the design and installation of commercial and residential landscape lighting. He is self-taught in Spanish and holds a Texas Irrigator's License #7988, Backflow Tester license#7809 and also TDA #0495666. Jason is a native Texan and experienced outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting, camping and being a dad. If you run out of landscape/irrigation questions he'll be happy to tell you his latest kid/camping/hunting story.
Mary Williams
Mary was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and you can tell every time you speak with her. Aside from New Orleans, she has lived all over the world, including Baku, Azerbaijan and Cairo, Egypt, but yet somehow ends up in Houston every time. Mary runs the accounting/purchasing department, here at Summit, but also has an amazing gift when it comes to landscaping and decorating. The company utilizes her knowledge of horticulture to ensure that our properties/projects receive top notch plant & tree material.
Marc Orduna
Marc comes to Summit from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with emphasis in Horticulture. He has been a groundskeeper at the Stephen F. Austin State University Pineywoods Native Plant Center and most recently, a Horticulturist, Landscape Designer, and Foreman at Florascapes here in Houston. He has also been a Horticulturist Assistant at the Houston Museum of Natural Science-Cockrell Butterfly Center. Mary says he adds a “touch of class and manners” to the company. Marc is a Texas Licensed Irrigation Technician (IT #465).
Hamilton Russell
Hamilton looks Irish and is fluent in Spanish. Turns out he’s half Scottish, half Mexican, which makes him all American. He manages the Summit fleet and all equipment, which means someone is going to yell at him everyday. Luckily, he used to be a police officer, so he can handle it! Hamilton has lived all over the place, including Guadalajara, Jalisco ,Mexico, which is where he was born. Hamilton has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Orleans and is currently pursuing his MBA from LeTourneau. He is a proud member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Hamilton is a Texas Licensed Irrigation Technician (IT #473) and is OSHA 30 certified.
Britney Russell
Britney is more or less a global nomad, as she was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, has lived in Houston and Cairo, Egypt, and has traveled all over the world. Britney works in Summit’s Administration department. If you ever call the office, you will most likely get to speak with her. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from LeTourneau University and is currently pursuing her MBA from LeTourneau as well. She is a Texas State Notary Public. Her biggest passions, aside from family and friends, are bowling and photography.
Andres Griffin
Andy comes to Summit with a B.S. & M.S. in Agriculture and Plant & Soil Science, as well as numerous years of experience in the industry. He is heading up our Maintenance Division. More to come...
Warren Campbell
Warren comes to Summit with many years experience in the industry, as well as an abundance of irrigation knowledge. He is the company's Property Irrigation Manager and is a Texas Licensed Irrigator (#14385). More to come...
Dustin Williams
Before joining the Summit team in July 2008, Dustin graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2006 and attended Blinn College. He has been working in Summit’s irrigation department, which one could see when he comes in from a job because he is covered in mud from head to toe. Dustin is actively pursuing his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston.
Filiberto Villicana
Filiberto has been with Summit since 1998 and continues to be a huge asset to the company. He monitors our quality control and his knowledge and competence ensures that our properties are top notch. "Beto" works closely with our foremen to make certain that we are pro-active with all of our properties.
J. Antonio Martinez
Antonio is the original Summit Landscape employee. He is largely responsible for the success of Summit, as he is a master landscaper and excellent foreman. Antonio excels at understanding the design of a project and knows instantly what will be required and how long a project will take. His competence and confidence ensures that our projects will succeed.
Manuel Perez
Manuel started with Summit in 2001 and is our primary residential landscaper. He not only excels in residential installation of softscapes but is talented in pavers, flagstone and irrigation installation and repair. Manuel has received more individual compliments from our customers than any other foreman.
Santos Trejo
Santos came to Summit in 1998 and is the compay's main irrigation installer and repairman. He has installed more systems than anyone can remember and is extremely talented in looking at an area and knowing what the irrigation requirements will be. Santos is a Texas Licensed Irrigation Technician (#477).
Walter Lopez
Walter joined the Summit team in 2003 and is one of the company's main irrigation installers and repairmen. He is very talented with laying out and installing systems. Walter is a Texas Licensed Irrigation Technician (#459).
