Tom Williams

Tom is the company’s owner and president. He grew up in the rolling hills of upstate New York where the four seasons were felt very distinctly each year. With a masters in physics, he spent most of his professional life as a geophysicist determining the best locations to drill oil and gas wells. He moved with his family to Houston in 1989. He "retired" from BP Amoco in 2007 and purchased Summit Landscape Services later that year. Summit began in 1995 and has developed into a highly successful company with a competent, qualified staff, a great reputation and many satisfied customers.  His vision is to build an even stronger company where the employees can feel proud to work and the quality of Summit's landscape, irrigation and maintenance projects are consistently recognized as second-to-none in the Houston area.  Tom is a TexasLicensed Irrigator (#17162).

Ross Ayers

Ross is a Registered Landscape Architect (Texas A&M) with thirty five years of experience. He is  former vice president of Cornelius Nursery (15 years), was a member of the Texas State Technological Institute Horticultural Advisory board (5 years), former volunteer fireman (12 years), and, needless to say, a member of the Houston Texas A&M club

He is also highly skilled at the design and installation of commercial and residential landscape lighting. He is self-taught in Spanish and holds Texas irrigator license#7988, Backflow tester license#7809 and also TDA #0495666. Jason is a native Texan and experienced outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting, camping and being a dad. If you run out of landscape/irrigation questions he'll be happy to tell you his latest kid/camping/hunting story.

Mary Williams

Mary was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and you can tell every time you speak with her. Aside from New Orleans, she has lived all over the world, including Baku, Azerbaijan and Cairo, Egypt, but yet somehow ends up in Houston every time. Mary runs the accounting department, here at Summit, but also has an amazing gift when it comes to landscaping and decorating.

Marc Orduna

Marco comes to Summit from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with emphasis in Horticulture. He has been a groundskeeper at the Stephen F. Austin State University Pineywoods Native Plant Center and most recently, a Horticulturist, Landscape Designer, and Foreman at Florascapes here in Houston. He has also been a Horticulturist Assistant at the Houston Museum of Natural Science-Cockrell Butterfly Center. Mary says he adds a “touch of class and manners” to the company. Marc is a Texas Licensed Irrigation Technician.

Hamilton Russell

Hamilton looks Irish and is fluent in Spanish. Turns out he’s half Scottish, half Mexican, which makes him all American. He manages the Summit fleet and all equipment, which means someone is going to yell at him everyday. Luckily, he used to be a police officer, so he can handle it! Hamilton came to Summit from New Orleans, with his wife, Britney and their Cocker Spaniel, Sydney. They have been in Houston since February 2008. Hamilton has lived all over the place, including Guadalajara, Jalisco ,Mexico, which is where he was born. Hamilton has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans. Hamilton is a Texas Licensed Irrigation Technician (IT#0000473).

Britney Russell

Britney is more or less a global nomad, as she was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, has lived in Houston and Cairo, Egypt, and has traveled all over the world. After graduating from High School in Cairo, Britney moved back to New Orleans to be with family and attend the University of New Orleans, where she was pursuing a Business degree. Her and her husband, Hamilton, and cocker spaniel, Sydney, have been in Houston since February 2008. Britney works in Summit’s Administration department. If you ever call the office, you will most likely get to speak with her. While working at Summit, she is actively pursuing her Bachelor’s degree from LeTourneau University- Houston campus. Her biggest passion, aside from family and friends, is bowling. She has been bowling since 2001 and is enthusiastically still chasing her career as a bowler. If anyone would like some side action, I would not recommend betting against her, as she is pretty good, for being a girl and all.

Dustin Williams

Before joining the Summit team in July 2008, Dustin graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2006 and attended Blinn College. He has been working in Summit’s irrigation department, which one could see when he comes in from a job, because he is covered in mud, from head to toe. Dustin is actively pursuing his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Houston.

Antonio Martinez

Antonio is the original Summit Landscape employee. He is largely responsible for the success of Summit, as he is a master landscaper and excellent foreman. Antonio excels at understanding the design of a project and knows instantly what will be required and how long a project will take. His competence and confidence ensures that our projects will succeed.

Manuel Perez

Manuel is our primary residential landscaper and has been with the company over 6 years. He not only excels in residential installation of softscapes but is talented in pavers, flagstone and irrigation installation and repair. Manuel has received more individual compliments from our customers than any other foreman.

Santos Trejo

Santos is Summit's main irrigation installer and repairman. He has a Texas installers license and has installed more systems than anyone can remember. He is extremely talented in looking at an area and knowing what the irrigation requirements will be. For all intents and purposes he is Summit's irrigation department.
